Volume II of the EPIQ CD set of reports presents 78 technical reports produced under the Egyptian Environmental Policy Program (EEPP) - Program Support Unit Task Order. Egypt Policy Support Unit Period of Performance: September 1999 - September 2002 Location: Egypt The PSU Task Order funded the services of a project support unit (PSU) to provide management and analytical technical support for the Egyptian Environmental Policy Program (EEPP). Technical assistance and training was provided for: 1. Strengthening Government of Egypt partners in crosscutting areas such as economic analysis, institutional strengthening and capacity building; policy analysis and formulation; as well as to the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) Task Force and related working groups. 2. Identifying critical policy measures for all tranches of the EEPP, supporting for the adoption of new policy measures; and institutional practices that strengthened EEPP impact on environmental sector reform. 3. Assisting the EEAA to develop and implement environmental policy reforms and demonstration activities. 4. Public awareness and education for policy and awareness and policy dialog, environmental sector analysis, information dissemination support.
