Webinar: Conservation Enterprises: Integrating Conservation Goals into Development Projects

A webinar with the World Bank's Global Wildlife Program demonstrated how conservation enterprise projects can achieve goals if certain elements and indicators are included during project design and measured through implementation.

Over the past two decades, USAID has used conservation enterprise approaches extensively in biodiversity programming, yet little information has been systematically collected to test key assumptions on effectiveness. In this webinar, monitoring, evaluation, and learning experts from the Office of Forestry and Biodiversity and Measuring Impact II demonstrated how designing projects with indicators to systematically measuring outcomes throughout implementation can enable projects to achieve conservation goals. The discussion features successful case studies from Nepal, Guatemala, and Uganda.

The recording can be viewed above, and the presentation is available for download.
