Food Security

Healthy ecosystems produce goods and services that are fundamental to food security, such as wild foods, pollination, water provision and natural pest control. Agriculture programming that integrates biodiversity conservation can strengthen food security, improve nutrition and support sustainable livelihoods. BRIDGE developed reports and evidence summaries that demonstrate how biodiversity and food security objectives can be integrated.
