Elephant conservation and corruption beyond the ivory trade
The paper is largely a reaction to a commentary (Bennett 2015, below) on the risks of corruption in a legal ivory trade, noting that there is evidence of corruption undermining just about “every aspect of elephant conservation, and there is no evidence that any approach is more or less susceptible.”
