My full name is Techan Tefera Bedasa and I was born to Mr. Tefera Bedasa and Ms. Jitu Erena in January 29, 1973. My place of birth in particular, is at North shewa and my Nationality is Ethiopian. Moreover, regarding my educational back ground, I graduated from Gondar University with diploma in Business management on July 12,2003 with GPA of 3.94. Similarly, I have graduated from Bahir Dar University with B.A in management and minor accounting on July 06/2007 with a commutative GPA of 3.80. On the other hand, concerning my job (work) experiences, I have over 16 years work experiences in different governmental organizations of the country (Ethiopia). The details are as follows. • From September 1, 1993 to March 30, 1994, secretary of southern Kalu Zone as Ethiopian transitional Government peace and security affairs representative and zonal executive committee member of south Wollo. • From April 1, 1994 to June 30, 1997 chairman of oromiya Administrative Zone in the Amhara National Regional state. • From July 1, 1997 to October 30, 2002 Trainer of Militia at Debremarkos police training center, head of North Gondar Zonal Militia office. • From July 1, 2005 to September 21, 2007, at Administrative and Security Affairs Bureau as security surveillance expert. • From September 22, 2007 to date, graduate assistant I instructor at Bahir Dar University. Furthermore, I have language skills of excellent reading, writing, speaking and listening of English, Afan Oromo and Amharic. At last, I am a father of two children, i.e.a daughter and a son. The reason why i joined in this study of field is that nowadays, natural disaster risk management and sustainable development is becoming one of the burning issues of Nations, specially of developing countries.Hence,i have been interested in this challenging and demanding field of study.
