Coral Triangle Support Partnership (CTSP)

In May 2009, WWF and other partners supported the launch of the Coral Triangle Initiative (CTI), which included commitments by six governments (Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands, and Timor-Leste) to safeguard marine resources and ensure income and food security for the millions of people who depend on those resources. In support of the CTI, the Coral Triangle Support Partnership (CTSP) was created with a goal of improving the management of biologically and economically important coastal and marine resources and associated terrestrial ecosystems that support the livelihoods of people’s economies in the Coral Triangle.
