Climate change has moved from being a hypothesis to being a reality. Changes in climatic conditions have resulted in profound impacts on agricultural production (crop yield and quality) and general livelihoods. This study assessed the response of farmers to climate change and its impact to their livelihoods and the potential of the three agricultural systems: viz. agro-forestry, conservation agriculture and conventional agriculture in Ts’akholo and Kolo communities in Mafeteng District as adaptation strategies to climate change.
