Lowering Emissions in Asia's Forests (LEAF)

The Lowering Emissions in Asia's Forests (LEAF) program is a five year, $20 million dollar program, engaging regional governments, forestry and climate mitigation specialists and universities in technical capacity building focused on REDD+. The program's goal is to: strengthen the capacity of target countries to achieve meaningful and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions from the forestry-land use sector, thus allowing these countries to benefit from the emerging international REDD+ framework.
