Ethiopia USFS Trip Report: Biomass and Soil Carbon Estimation; Nov 2011

by Jason Ko last modified Aug 20, 2013 05:00 PM
Contributors: Rau, Ben

The primary objective of this mission was to conduct on the job training for a field crew and to collect baseline data on the effects of rangeland management on ecosystem carbon. As part of the rangeland management plan being developed under PLI-II it has been suggested that proper management could improve carbon sequestration in pastoral rangelands and may provide an opportunity for value added products and services.
