Assistant Manager

The Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) is seeking an Assistant Manager reporting directly to the JGI Congo Executive Director. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of JGI's Education and Awareness and Law Enforcement activities in the Tchimpounga Nature Reserve, Conkouati Douli National Park and elsewhere as required.

World Wildlife Fund

Chief of Party - Combating Wildlife Crime in Southern Africa

Location: Windhoek, Namibia

The World Wildlife Fund is looking for a Chief of Party who will be
responsible for the performance, communications, partner relationships, and all technical aspects of the Combating Wildlife Crime Project as well as developing strong relationships with partner governments. More specifically s/he will provide overall project direction and management, and maintain vision and commitment to outcomes/results. S/he will serve as the principal liaison with USAID. Ensure timely submission of all required programmatic deliverables to USAID including work plans  and technical reports.

Capacity Development Manager

The primary role of the capacity development manager will be to act as the leader for key partners support and training activities. This individual shall keep the deputy, head of program informed regarding issues of program management and implementation of these activities. Responsibilities include developing the capacity building plan and coordinating activities: identification of beneficiaries and their needs, developing training tools covering climate change, sustainable landscape planning and approaches, and implementing activities.

Data Specialist

The Data Specialist is dedicated to the Bonobo & Congo Biodiversity
Initiative (BCBI), the Zoological Society of Milwaukee's bonobo
conservation program in the Salonga National Park, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The specialist assists the team to achieve the technical aspects of the BCBI program with an emphasis on maintaining research and other field data, data quality control, basic GIS and mapping, assistance with data analyses, and report/grant preparation. The full-time position is based in Milwaukee with periodic work in the DRC.
