Africa Investment Director

Kenya Country Director

The Country Director of Conservation International (CI) Kenya provides the strategic and programmatic direction of the country program, proactively identifying opportunities and trends for the achievement of the institutional goals. Responsible for senior-level program management and ensuring that program strategies, initiatives and outcomes advance CI's human development and conservation priorities. Duties are complex and include leading the design, implementation and integration of program strategies throughout the country program and integrated across CI. The Country Director provides broad programmatic, project, monitoring and technical oversight and continuously engages key internal and external partners critical to program success.

Project Finance and Grants Manager

The Project Finance and Grants Manager manages all financial, Administrative and Grants, functions of the Twende Project. The employee is responsible for generating financial reports, data entry and analysis, working closely within a department the Project Finance and Grants manager ensure smooths operations of financial functions and compliance with CI's financial and /or donor reporting polices requirements. The Programs Finance and grants manager oversees the efficient management of a variety of accounting, finance and grants related functions.

Project Manager

The successful candidate will manage a comprehensive capacity building project focussed on the training of Angolan investigators and, prosecutors and informing the judiciary on countering the national and cross-border illegal wildlife trade in that country. The executant will supervise and coordinate staff from TRAFFIC's project partner ICCF who will implement a policy and legislation consultation with senior Angolan government legislators and policy makers. Tsavo-Mkomazi Landscape Manager

Location: Voi, Kenya

This position will be responsible for providing leadership, management and accountability for the activities and performance of African Wildlife Foundation's (AWF) conservation program in the Tsavo Mkomazi in Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania. The Tsavo Landscape Manager will also provide strategic oversight and direction for the implementation of the program, ensuring that each of the components are implemented in line with AWF practice and global standards taking account of the local conditions. The position oversees staff consisting of Ecologist, Research officer, Community Development officer and Field Assistants as well as Finance and Administration staff.

Africa Nature Investors

Project Manager - Gashaka Gumti National Park

Location: Nigeria

The Project Manager will lead the Gashaka Africa Nature Investors Project Management Team, established to give financial, technical and management support to the park. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall operational management and smooth running of the project. The first phase (next 1-2 years) will focus heavily on strengthening the ranger patrol force of the park, construction of a vehicle workshop/office/accommodation, recruitment of a small staff team, developing pilot eco-tourism and engagement of all the communities within and outside the park. Other responsibilities will include staff management, accounting and administration and development of a management plan and business plan for the park.
